Account Deletion

Delete your BoothMate Account.

BoothMate Account deletion is available in app versions that offer BoothMate Account. Android versions that do not offer BoothMate Account remain local and have no BoothMate Account to delete. This page explains the current deletion steps, the 7-day recovery period, and what deletion removes and keeps. If you need help with your account, contact BoothMate support.

Delete from inside the app

In app versions that offer BoothMate Account, open BoothMate, go to Settings, then BoothMate Sync, sign in, and choose Delete Account. The app starts the deletion immediately and shows the 7-day recovery window and the scheduled deletion described below. Deleting the account stops cloud access for the account and keeps your data on the device.

What happens next

Once deletion is started, a 7-day recovery window begins. During that window, signing in again and choosing Restore Account in Settings cancels the deletion and keeps your account.

If you do not restore the account, it becomes eligible for scheduled deletion when the 7 days end. BoothMate Cloud processes due deletions once a day, so deletion normally finishes within about 24 hours after that. That is the normal case, not a guarantee: an outage, a backlog of pending deletions, or an ownership issue that has to be resolved first can delay it. Final deletion removes the account and its cloud workspace, including cloud media, and cannot be undone.

Scheduled deletion is final. We cannot cancel it for you after the recovery window ends, so keep your account email address reachable if you may want to restore.

What deletion does not remove

Deleting your account does not delete BoothMate data on your device. Local records stay on the device until you delete them or remove the app.

Deleting your account does not cancel a BoothMate EX subscription. Cancel it separately where you bought it: your App Store account for App Store purchases, or your Google Play account for Google Play purchases.

A limited amount of data is kept after deletion. This includes security and technical records such as request logs and identifiers kept to prevent abuse, records we are required by law to keep, and residual copies in provider backups until those backups expire. For a linked App Store or Google Play purchase, BoothMate keeps a limited entitlement record, so a subscription cannot be reused across accounts and billing stays accurate. The Privacy Policy describes this in full.
